Dr Gutierrez graduated in Halifax, Nova Scotia obtaining his DDS degree from the University of Dalhousie. After moving back to Toronto Dr. Gutierrez worked as an associate dentist in various offices around Toronto where he obtained valuable experience with Toronto's multicultural community
In 2012 Dr.Gutierrez opened his own private practice 'Smiles on Steeles'.

Dr. Gutierrez is an active member of the RCDSO and ODA, He also participates in many local charities and functions as his way of staying involved with the community outside of the work-place.
Dr. Gutierrez is an avid soccer fan and player, when he's not busy in the office he and his wife Saida enjoy traveling and spending time with their family
